Boat ramp
Community feedback is saying their local boat ramp is too congested. State government used a BizziRex Analytics Report to understand how busy the boat ramp is and when it is over capacity. The report showed much higher than expected visitor rates overall and peak usage times. They used the where visitors come from metric to understand why the visitor rate is so high. Results revealed a very high proportion of visitors travelling further than 50km to use the boat ramp and a high proportion coming from interstate. It was apparent from this evidence that the local boat ramp was, in fact, servicing a much larger catchment of people, providing the justification for the boat ramp to be upgraded.
